THE PRODUCER AND DJ FROM BOLOGNA DOESN’T STOP, FROM THE STAGE OF VASCO TO THE ARTISTIC ALCHYMIA WITH THE KNOWN COMPOSER AND DIRECTOR
“Unimago” evening of music and culture was staged under the sky of Milan, in the splendid Piazza of San Lorenzo Maggiore alle Colonne.
The leading actor is Maestro Andrea Morricone, conducting the orchestra “Roma Sinfonietta”, able to enchant the attentive audience with the soundtracks from some of the most famous Italian films. A congenial opportunity to present live, in an absolute national preview, the single “Zenith” born from the artistic union with the producer and DJ Yaya Deejay. Known to the general public for the exciting opening act of many concerts by Vasco Rossi, the Bolognese artist adds another important piece to a mosaic of a career in concrete ascent. Experimentation in music knows no boundaries so this piece combines the classic and unmistakable style of Andrea Morricone’s piano with live percussion and Yaya Deejay’s synth.
The opening of a new musical era focused on the synergy between Maestro’s cinema and the modern dance sounds of DJs. “I met the manager of Andrea Morricone, Dr. Cinzia Chiari, in Rome last June for Vasco Rossi concert. – tells Yaya – After my opening dj set we met each other and we enter immediately into great harmony, talking about our respective projects. A very natural chat which was followed by a first meeting with the Maestro in Bologna. An authentic emotion that I still feel today in the materialization of that artistic process of sharing with him”.
“Zenith contains all the art of Morricone, that ranges from the magic of his piano and his unmistakable hand passing through the sounds of the orchestra and an elegant style. I put the synth, percussion and electric guitar to make the song closer to my universe. A professional experience that has enriched me with new concepts without neglecting fun; artists of this caliber are an example. I hope that everyone likes Zenith, we are proud of it “, continues one of the italian queens of console. The results of this live in Milan were positive: “It was the first time for me in this new look, so different from my traditional canons. I am a person who loves challenges by putting me on the first line; the music knows no obstacles, it is unique and we can only follow her, letting go “.
The evening was promoted by the Angeletti Foundation with the aim of enhancing the artistic and cultural heritage of the city.
